How on earth can Astrology help your parent-child relationships? First, I think it's crucial to understand that our children do not belong to us.

Astrology is a great tool to help us see our children reach their full potential. Their natal chart is like a guidebook, helping us recognise and accept each child's individual gifts and weaknesses. In accepting these traits, we can help our children overcome obstacles and provide them with as many opportunities as possible to develop their talents.

One of the very first things I did after giving birth to my children, was create their natal birth charts.

I had created the mindful intention to call them into our family. I had energetically connected with their essence whilst in my womb. I had felt their presence whilst they grew inside of me. I had calmed their emotions during our first earthside meeting and skin-to-skin time.

So, it was now time to understand their soul on a deeper and more intimate level. As a parent, we are tasked with the responsibility of providing guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. Preparing these dear souls for the numerous transitions of life, which span across family, spirituality, relationships, education, love, finances, travel and community.

Astrology is a potent key to understanding your children and why they are here.

By understanding your child's natal chart, you are graciously acknowledging that you do not control this soul. You are simply here to understand, learn, honour + guide this life force energy.

And the best way to honour and guide a soul is by taking powerful steps towards compassionate understanding and loving validation.

- Their deepest needs + desires (which isn't always obvious)

When I made the decision to start homeschooling my children I turned to their individual natal charts to see how they are hard wired to absorb information and learn. I studied their charts against mine, to see how our cosmic energies could work together within the home environment, to create supportive and harmonious learning conditions. Astrology has taken so much guess work out of the parenting game for me. It's made me see the soul's I'm lucky enough to love and shepherd, in a completely new way. I have been blessed 4 times over with the role of being "mum" and I homeschool my children differently, based on their natal chart. I show them love and attention in different ways, based on their natal chart. I hold awareness around their varying energy levels, passions and determination, based on their natal charts. And I know what their soul is here to achieve in this lifetime and I'm their number one supporter. 

The journey from babyhood to adulthood is full of joys and challenges. An Astrological natal chart is intended to help parents and mentors support and encourage their children through the difficult times and to provide them with as much love and joy as possible. Then childhood can become a true foundation for a rewarding and joyful adult life. Both children and their parents can be satisfied with a strong and healthy emotional bond, happy memories, and many possibilities for future success.

Kids are not born with manuals but, an Astrological natal chart is the closest 'how-to guide' you will ever have when it comes to better understanding and appreciating your precious gift(s). All parents want the best for their children. We want our children to live happy and fulfilled lives. And I've found Astrology to be such a reliable and informative tool to refer to throughout the last 7 years of parenting. It constantly points me in the most productive and loving place to meet them, truly se them and help them.
